Last week the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce (SPCC) presented the Report "NORDIC INSIGHTS - Trends shaping the future of business". The Report was created in cooperation with the infuture hatalska foresight institute and presents current trends related to innovations on the Scandinavian market. Medicover Poland, as one of the Report's partners, shared its experiences in the "Connected Health" section.
The purpose of the Report is to identify key business trends in Scandinavia against a general background of the global changes shaping business and influencing the Polish-Scandinavian cooperation. In many key areas of life, Scandinavians stand out from other countries when it comes to innovation, competitiveness or digitization of society. In the Report we broke down the trends into three areas: Economy and Technology, Environment and Sustainable Development, and Society and Work. The Report also mentions interesting solutions implemented by Scandinavian businesses operating in Poland,
says Agnieszka Zielińska, Managing Director at Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce.
How will healthcare change in the future?
At Medicover, we are currently focusing on introducing services that can help our patients within 3 to 5 years. We have divided these new functionalities into four areas - two in the area of preventive healthcare and two aimed at caring for chronically ill patients. The first category includes self-care and new methods of communication. For the chronically ill, we are adding new ways of communicating with Medicover - wearables and monitoring of chronically ill patients,
explains Maciej Malenda, Director of International Development and Innovation at Medicover.
